2020 has been brutal for indies, and pre-orders are a great way to help them survive. Though you can of course place your pre-orders with whichever vendor suits you best, I'd like to encourage you to purchase them through your local indie bookshop. I love spending time with these characters, and I hope you will, too. It's the start of a mellow solarpunk journey on an imagined moon that I think is very nice to hang out on.

In July, we'll be moving into brand new territory with the first of my Monk & Robot novellas, A Psalm for the Wild-Built. The book will be out in the UK in February, and in the US in April. This is the most alien of the books by far, and I had so much fun digging deeper into non-human cultures for my last jaunt in the Galactic Commons. They could not be more different, but the one thing they have in common is a huge dose of chill, because that's what I needed to write this year, and I figure you might be in a similar mood.įirst up is The Galaxy, and the Ground Within, the fourth and final novel in the Wayfarers series. Two of them! Both will be out next year, with just a short wait in between.
